We assisted a large OSV operator to achieve lifecycle and maintenance cost reduction for their in-house asset management system, by successfully taking over the on-going development, maintenance and new user request management service. We also rescued their in-house software development project, by providing outsourced software developers from our maritime industry trained development team to the client’s IT department to strengthen their internal project delivery capability.

The client faced consistent usability issues with their crew module, resulting in crew across their 45 vessels and office staff to waste time and use inefficient workarounds. By switching to SDSD, the client tailored the software to their precise requirements. The ‘free development hours’ ensured that that the module evolved in line with regulatory changes and internal demands. We are helping a Hamburg based manager of 22 bulk vessels to gain control over maintenance, safety and procurement workflow issues resulting from the previous use of inefficient and uncontrolled excel reports.
